Marlborough

First mentioned in the Doomsday book in 1097, Marlborough has one of the most beautiful high streets in England. Full of lovely honey-coloured buildings, Marlborough has a proud history as a place where coins were minted in Norman times, Tudor kings hunted for deer and where coaches heading west from London stopped to feed and water their horses. These days it's also known for being the closest town to Silbury Hill and for its great shopping!

As well as being a stunning place to visit, Marlborough is one of the best centres for ladies' fashion shopping in the South of England. With 20 plus shops ranging from boutiques featuring top designers to popular high street chains clustered around the gorgeous main street.
